About
Anthony Terrasi
Anthony Terrasi has been an active artist, designer, and educator for over 50 years with degrees in both Studio Art and Art History. He has exhibited locally, regionally, and nationally. Most notably his work has shown at the Jarvis Center in New York with the The John Brooks Dodge Collection, and with his solo exhibitions ‘Textural Interpretations’ at Framingham State University and ‘New Works’ at the Bedford Public Library.
In 1973 Terrasi joined the prestigious design team of Fiandaca Interiors of Milton MA, Boston’s foremost interior design firm, with whom he continued to work and consult with until 2006. In 1989 Terrasi Boutique was opened featuring one-of-a-kind hand painted apparel. In 1998 this venture evolved into his design company, Design Concepts, an independent design studio providing creative products to nationally distributed catalogue houses.
In addition to his creative and consulting work, Terrasi has conducted numerous lectures and workshops around the Boston area primarily with the Bedford and Maynard public school systems and with Clay Works in Westford.
Now in his mid-sixties, and with a more flexible schedule, his commitment to creative and artistic expression is as strong as ever. Terrasi continues to be active with his own personal creative works while serving as a design consultant for independent clients including the New England Pediatric Care of Billerica, Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL), and several private clients.
